Doug is a seasoned IT Auditor and Security Professional who was always willing to go the extra mile. His thoroughness and professionalism was a welcome addition to my audit team.

Doug has in-depth knowledge of logical security controls and features across many platforms, from mainframe to PC. He is adept at applying his knowledge of IT General Controls on a risk-related basis while maintaining excellent client relations. On my second week of the job, my department underwent an Audit. Doug was on the audit team. As this was my first audit, more experienced managers came down from Toronto. Still, I worked with Doug on this audit and learned much about the process. Doug and I worked on several more audits. On each one, he worked with me, going over the results of the data provided, and helping us to improve our processes. With each audit, the bar was raised, which helped us to be more in control and provide better security. Doug was professional, yet also personable, and really helped educate me on a number of points. Since then I have gotten my CISA and I think that Doug's example helped me decide it was a valuable addition.
